New Advocacy Fact Sheet Dissects How Businesses Are Financed

The Office of Advocacy’s new fact sheet, “Dissecting Access to Capital,” utilizes newly-released data from the U.S. Census Bureau’s Annual Survey of Entrepreneurs to answer the top questions about how businesses are financed.

The fact sheet presents how much and where businesses receive their financing as well as how many businesses are seeking new financial relationships. Among other findings, the fact sheet reveals the importance of personal financing by owners for businesses to start and continue to stay open.

The new fact sheet is available on the Office of Advocacy’s website
